I fancy Mayenda to do well and Isidor should be okay with more space offered. Still want another forward option

Would work in the RCM role imo, interesting that we have other 'wide attacking' options though, we must view him as a winger?

Played 5/33 games as a winger last season. Something doesn’t add up, don’t think this one is a goer

I think Isidor and Mayenda running onto through balls from Diarra and Le Fee will score goals in any division and any competition.

We are perfectly set up to be the team under the cosh.

I wouldn't fancy either of them in a top 10 premier league side (at the moment) but for a team looking to counter it's genuinely quite exciting to think of them and Adingra and Talbi going guns a blazing with Sadiki, Diarra, ELF or Rigg feeding them.

That's your opinion which is fair enough. I reckon Mayenda and Wilson could get 10 each if they were played regular. That would leave us looking for another 20 from our wide men, midfield and a couple from defenders. I reckon we need to score 40 goals to have a chance providing we have a relatively solid defence and concede 55-60.

Just on how much we've spent vs can spend. So far our net spend is roughly £60m (if you include Ekwah).

Ipswich's last year was about £110m, and I see no news stories about them being ****ed financially and being desperate to sell. Quite the opposite they seem to be keeping all their players.

By that incredibly over-simplified reckoning we still have at least £50m we can spend.

but don't think it's such a rush to get it done before west ham, would be great if we could but personally think CH is more important getting done before first game, mike would all be done if lyon hadn't come back and ask for another 10m on top of what was all nearly agreed on

yeh agreed, my point was more they're not ****ed financially, so didn't over extend themselves last summer (even if they bought crap).

So if £110m net spend isn't overextending, we're fine knowing we can have similar.

Arguably we can be confident having an even bigger net spend knowing our assets should be worth more than theirs if we get relegated (but this is risky of course)

Isidor and Mayenda have just as much as a chance of anyone at stepping up but I do want another striker

They’ve sold there best player and the rest are mostly good championship players at best with possible exception of Hutchinson and one or two others.

They’ll be right up there competing for another automatic promotion. Very good squad (for that level).

from what I've heard (take with a pinch of salt) we are looking in the belgium market for a striker currently, we want a different profile to Isidor and Mayenda

Mayenda I’d agree with considering his rate of development. I wouldn’t fancy Isidor to start many games at that level

It’s a very good signing for that level. Huddersfield have signed well, plenty of experience now in that squad
