I'm all about the centre backs personally. They're definitely needed before the first game and ideally much sooner for connections etc.

You could argue the striker is one that could if needed wait until closer to the deadline to make sure we get the right one. Obviously sooner is better but with Isidor and Mayenda we're at least covered in the short term.

It wouldnt surprise me if Newcastle instigated the whole thing with their offer. Using Ekitike as a buffer between Isak & Liverpool.

Depends. If a Barca/Madrid/PSG/Liverpool or even Arsenal come calling, I reckon there’s every chance he would want away. Why wouldn’t he?

3 years left on contract. I can see them feeling forced into selling next summer, assuming there's a buyer.

Tbf he might want away but basically nobody puts in a formal transfer request these days
