I was playing golf today at the ex SAFC players annual charity at Sharpley and the guest speaker was David Bruce. He said there’s plenty more to come and transfer money wont be an issue, we were one of only 4 clubs that operated below their financial limit (must be what we’re allowed to spend) last season. Also KLD doesn’t know how big the club can become and wants the world stage. Or words
To that effect.

I saw David Bruce at an event yesterday. He said he was confident we would add several more players before the start of the season. And he said we had the funds and space (within the FFP rules) to spend quite a bit more.
BTW, he spoke more generally about the commercial/business/fan engagement side of the club... he was bloody impressive!

Good to hear regarding KLD wants it all.

He’s managed the equivalent of 20 games in the last three seasons albeit in about 70 appearances. It’s a different level but I predict an expensive ( in terms of wages) flop.

I'd do, once they have off loaded Elliott, Gomez and Nunez. They also need to replace Diogo . Money to spend maybe late on. The fact that it was in news about Isak had stalled on his new contract a few weeks ago would suggest he is looking for a switch. Time will tell.

If Isak was really looking for a switch - he’d hand a transfer request in. He’s playing for a Champions League club and absolutely flying. He won’t be that desperate to move on

Well theres 2 things to speculate about:
- what does everyone think now that we have signed ramsdale?

- Now that we are 100% signing a player from a Brugge club who would you rather have:

- Kyriani Sabbe as a young RB cover
- Onyedika as a physical 6
- Joel Ordonez as the first of 2 CBs
- Joaquin Seys to cover LB and RB
- Vermant as a youngish striker option
- Tzolis as a 900th LW
- We have hijacked Jashari from AC Milan

- Abu Francis from Cercle as a project DM for cheap

Ramsdale would be good imo. I think folk are looking at him, seeing things and magnifying them. Keep Patto and let them push each other hard.

I would maybe give a shot to Ravych as someone who has potential in the right setup. I thought he had promise in a couple of games I sae highlights of. One for the coaches though really. Unless Papin is still playing for Brugge then I would sign him
