I think with really tall keepers, like the Romanian lad we had for a couple of seasons, they're great at collecting crosses and set pieces but can be weak at getting down low and into the corners to make saves, someone like Cortouis seems to be an exception and is probably why he is considered one of the worlds best.

I imagine somewhere between 6'3 and 6'5 is probably optimal. Tin hat on.

You trying to tell me Fabian Barthez isn't the prototypical perfect keeper?

I think if we've got the money, and he's available, we get him back.

We do have a 10 spot free. I'd rather spend our money on Amad, and get a cheaper striker/loan for the 3rd option.

Imagine a midfield/attack of...

.............Mayenda........
Adingra...Amad...Talbi
.....Le Fee.......Diarra...

Will Talbi be ready for starting the prem? I’m not so sure.

I reckon we will look for another top quality CM, although I don’t know how far our budget can stretch.

———————-New 6———————-
—————-Diarra——Le Fee————-
Amad———-————————Adingra
———-———Mayenda———————

That to me looks more natural, we definitely need a proper number 6 imo to compete with Neil, I’m liking the sound of that Amir Richardson fella.

Then we can focus mainly on CB & GK

Rak-Sakyi could be available for around 10m, Wolves are interested.

are wolves just throwing money around?

Did see Che Adams name linked but count find anything on it or the original article as the site that was reporting didn't give a source
