He will still play plenty but I can't see him starting week in week out

He will fight for the jersey though and will do everything possible to keep it. Be interesting how much the coaches believe in him at the next level

Absolutely. I agree with you that an impact sub will be his best role. If he isnt getting enough chances though I could see him wanting away in Jan. He strikes me as a player who just wants to be on the pitch and hates being off it. I would wager he would sooner play regularly in the champ than rarely in the prem. Time will tell.

We might reevaluate it in Jan, i think we might with a few players but I could see him backing himself in the PL

He is very different to our other 3 wingers so does give us a different option

He just has to play better than he did 2nd half of last seasom

Speaking of right wingers. Ernest Poku in the Euro showed some quality I thought. Plays in the Dutch league and I know there are doubts about that level. Just an idea for someone who might well have a bright future somewhere. And I have a soft spot for Dutch flair players.
 
Just a random post and nothing has been mentioned of these players being linked to us but I do think a goalkeeper is needed this window even if it is to challenge Patterson for the number 1 spot. These goalkeepers stand out to me of who we should be attempting to go for since missing out on bulka and petrovic. All have great shot stopping ability and some more experienced than others with different values to their clubs so it ultimately depends on how much the club is willing to spend.

1. Moritz Nicolas (Borussia Mönchengladbach) 27 years old, 6ft 2. 78% save percentage last season. Average rating of 7.44

2. Horatiu Moldovan (atletico madrid, on loan at sassuolo last season)
27 years old, 6ft 2. 75% save percentage last season. Average rating of 7.07

3. Yahia Fofana (Angers SCO)
24 years old, 6ft 4. 74% save percentage last season. Average rating of 7.36

Is there any goalkeepers you think we should be looking at who may not have been mentioned yet or stick with how it is?
