I don't think for one second that the club consider Patrick Roberts to be a 3rd choice option for RW. I understand that a lot of our fans don't rate him that highly, but the club clearly do.

He is, but has zero end product. His assist/goal ratio is rubbish for a player of his ability

I did say take the 1st choice with a pinch of salt

I think talbi will provide cover for both sides and I think we might loan a left footed RW.

Aye and RB is where we're really missing depth. Hume plus Huggins isn't enough

Because you can sign a replacement that is much better than him quite easily, he's good on the ball, then that's it, the end product is lifting. Yes, he had assists, but if you actually look at them, he had one or two decent ones. Was it 2 goals from open play in 2 seasons?

Yeah very true mate. I do like Roberts but id like to see him come off the bench against tired legs instead of being a starter

The end product is poor but RLB clearly rates Roberts. Trusted him in the play-off final to come on, injured, and make something happen. OK, RLB's options were limited!
