I think at some point we surely need to bring in some British lads and some experienced lads and, frankly, some cheaper lads. Henderson ticks all three boxes.

The elephant in the room is that we're spending like crazy and showing no sign of stopping but at some point we have to :D

Don't worry about the money. It's about £65m net, and they know what they can do. As for experience, the one thing I'm sure we won't be doing is buy peak age experienced PL players. They just cost way too much. As KS said shortly after Wembley, there is more than one kind of experience.

Plenty of time!

There must have been some serious hardwork going on behind the scenes for a longtime to come up with 2 lists of signings for both divisions with us obviously not knowing which league we’d be in

Then with the pace we have signed players and us being promoted later than anyone else after winning the playoffs it is so so impressive

fair play to everyone involved

The players are bairns with a high sell on. If one of these shine during our campaign then their price sky rockets.

If they set the AFCON alight their stock will increase!!!

I know people have said they don't rate Adingra on the right but watching this video from last season, against premier league defenders, he does seem to have spent a fair amount of time out there at Brighton. And whilst I'm sure he's better on the left, he's surely a better option than Roberts on the right.

Reminds me abit of Sess

I reckon the wingers will be
LW - Andingra/Mundle
RW - Talbi/Roberts
Which looks spot on to me
We then have Myenda, Enzo and Isidore to cover if needed

I’d prefer a RW with Talbi then able to cover both sides tbh. Would give us good rotation with 3 decent wingers. Roberts is a waste of time, if we get an injury and he has to step in I’d be worried

I saw that Salis Abdul Samed and Neil El Aynaoui played together in the Lens midfield during the 23/24 season, wonder how they compared with each other on data metrics.

Roberts is certainly not a waste of time, he will contribute a lot I reckon.
I agree he won’t be a regular starter.

This will be the case with a lot of the players. Some of the signings might actually find themselves looking in and wanting to get back in.

Just as it should be. We need numbers and quality. What promotion does is not cast aside the players who got us there, most of them will feature, and most of them IMO, will be fine.

But it does mean that those looking in last season and who aren't kids, will probably need a new home.
