Granted, he made a lot of saves, but his defence had to get him out of the **** a fair bit with clearances.

I'd still love him here, don't get me wrong, but no goalkeeper who would joing us at our current level will be flawless.

Still needs to prove he can play a consistent run of games in a a season. Not sure he would have better options than us either

I dont think we will have a main LB at the minute, it'll be a battle for the position and I won't be surprised if Cirkin ups his game and becomes 1st choice LB

If we spent 20 million on a LB then they are highly likely to be 1st choice but we've signed this guy on a free so if Cirkin signs a new deal he will get plenty opportunities

We are going to need a full squad, just because we have signed a left back doesn’t automatically mean the player already in that position is leaving, we need players to compete with each other, I’m happy we’ve got two really decent left backs, if DC leaves then that’ll mean we will be bringing another left back in

We'll need Burnley and Leeds to be **** and then i'm looking at Wolves as the main target, although they do have a good manager and money to spend. If Andrews is a disaster at Brentford they could be in trouble but their squad is full of quality. Outside of that I struggle to find clubs that could be in trouble.

I'm not sure the opportunities will be that frequent unless we move to 5 at back.

Only a 38 game season and potentially out of the first round of both cups makes it 40. Cirkin will get 5 games for sure over Christmas I guess.

Aye but he likely will have been told that Mika is a good as done, the person telling him will have been told Mika is looking really possible but not there yet, they will have been told that we’re hopeful on Mika but but a way to go yet. Etc etc

Simplistic I know but you hopefully get my point. People that put stuff straight on Twitter generally won’t be getting told stuff first hand. I still believe they’re (the two lads in question) are posting in good faith though.
