Could be why Mikataudze is taking ages, because we're negotiating for both him and Perri
 
Perri maybe? the article did say he was close to going to the PL but wouldn't name the team

Taking my red n white specs off it makes sense, can live where he does or close too, established prem side so less of a risk for him

I’m sure we’ll still end up very impressed with whoever we get in, we move on

Rightly or wrongly I remain more bothered about outfield additions. If there’s a really highly rated keeper we can get this summer then I’m all for it. I don’t want to chase miles down the priority list though. I’d rather use the money on other much-needed additions in that case.

Aye, was always unlikely once they were interested.

Less chance of relegation etc...

Ngl, I’m holding off for a bigger journalist

he could very well be right (and likely is) but he’s not a huge name and seems a strange person to break the exclusive of that specific transfer not sure where the link is

I can't remember where it came from but whoever said Chelsea have suddenly gone quiet despite us bidding what they'd asked for was the alarm bell for me. I work in sales coaching within consulting and managed services and pretty much rule number 1 is if one party suddenly goes quiet in a negotiation its usually because they're talking to somebody else.

And what about all of the apparent ITKs that said this was practically nailed on, don't think i'm going to believe what they say now
 
Sounds to me like either the ITKs have conflated things or the club need to get better at setting their own expectations. As we kept hearing the club were confident it would be done.
