Same, and worth noting Mayenda played a fair amount wide last season and can see him doing so again thisto be fair he’s played most of his games on the right. I think he’s signed to be right winger myself

I don't think we should get too hung up on it. It's true that we are predominantly right footed from wide, but we're signing wide players to go with what we already have. Even if these players are predominantly one foot or the other, they can still create by going the other way. Imo,Roberts,Talbi,Mundle and Laurente would give us plenty of wide options, particularly when we already know that both Wilson and Elizer can come in from there.Only people on here saying he would has looked better on the left, depends if we want him to be inverted or not might just want the natural width
Happy BorthdaMy birthday today! Always hoped for a birthday big signing and the best one I can remember is John O’Shea
expecting big things this year!
Certainly got that with the midfield 3I think the key to our success this season is energy and pace. All over the pitch,in possession and out.
Yes it will be a welcome change having a winger that can take people on and hit the bye line he is very quick and I am sure he will be able to do it on a regular basis.to be fair he’s played most of his games on the right. I think he’s signed to be right winger myself
I think we'll have it with the front runners too.Certainly got that with the midfield 3
Correctwith some going to AFCON we will need cover,
we need a squad

Happy birthday marra, enjoy. My birthday today! Always hoped for a birthday big signing and the best one I can remember is John O’Shea

I’d definitely prefer an additional left footed one, mind. Good players are good players but I don’t see Lauriente as a perfect fit assuming the Talbi deal is done. But all the talk seems to be that although Talbi can and does/has play on the right, that he’s likely been signed to mainly compete on the left.
If he’s been signed as a right winger then I’ve no issue.
Lauriente goes straight in at LW for meI’d definitely prefer an additional left footed one, mind. Good players are good players but I don’t see Lauriente as a perfect fit assuming the Talbi deal is done.
It seems that this Sacha and Fabrizio are the only sources that the club do trust. Everyone else is grasping at straws. These two seem to be part of the Club strategy for any news going forward which is a good thing all round.. there were too many god ***** at one stage working from the club, not now since the clear out.Purely speculative on my part but I wonder following the Bulka stuff and then following Sacha’s “early” news on Petrovic, whether the club have specifically asked the likes of Romano to report nothing on us in exchange for a heads up on the “exclusive” once it’s done.
But leaves Mundle and (potentially) Talbi having to find game time elsewhere. People keep talking on here about needing a big squad, but I’m not sure RLB will use it. And 5 wingers feels like overkill - particularly if we’ve also got 3-4 strikers competing for one spot up top. As I say it’s great to have good players, but if they’re all natural fits for one particular position, it does reduce their impact.Lauriente goes straight in at LW for me
I think the alternative is much worse, afcon will mean we only have 4 (should we actually sign 2 more + Talbi) and then you're one injury away on either side from having no backup. But leaves Mundle and (potentially) Talbi having to find game time elsewhere.
