While we seem to be getting a lot of very good players coming in which is, of course, a good thing, we should not be getting carried away.

If we go back a few months on this forum we will see lots of comments saying things like “worst performance ever” when we were getting battered almost every game and had a run where we were on relegation form. I know there were reasons such as keeping players injury free for the play offs but in truth we’d been poor for a while.

Before each game I used to think we would easily win with the talent we have like Bellingham, Enzo and others (who were consistently linked with Premiership moves) yet once the game got going we were penned back most of the time and only made a few breaks which we would often score from. Our defence was magnificent but it was hard to watch.
Both Coventry and Sheffield had the lions share of the games even though we got past them.

What I’m trying to say is we really are relegation favourites and it’s a huge ask to stay up.
If we get Petrovic, Mika?, and a couple more really good players in we will be at a similar level to the expected bottom 4 or 5 clubs.
What we do have is the potential to improve more than those other clubs and as the season goes on we will hopefully gel and generally perform better.
RLB seems to know what he’s doing as well which is worth a few points.

I would recommend putting a bet on that we stay up as you will get good odds.
We actually had more possession than Sheff Utd!!

Na, possession doesn't matter in the final only the semi-final!

Only way us having less posession could mean Coventry desvered to win but then couple weeks later have more possession but that mean Sheff Utd deserved to win!

Scott Wilson has posted an article. It’s pretending to be some breaking news but he’s reporting other people’s work as his own and making assumptions
Literally a round up of rumours, even including that gala fan

We weren't getting battered every game, we lost games at the end due to resting players keeping them fresh for the playoffs, and look what happened there, we still had lots of energy at the end of games and the other teams tired. Plus sheff didn't have the majority of the game, we had more possession l, more shots than them, and the cov game they had more possession and did nothing with it, we had more chances than them
