Gotta say Talbi is probably the least enthused I am about all our signings so far. Just feels a bit too far on the “risk spectrum” for me. This is a hot take and I absolutely am likely wrong. I just get concerned at the idea he doesn’t adapt / settle and Roberts by default continues as our first choice right winger.

Ship has sailed for me, I was desperate for us to sign him in the championship before he went to Bristol City but I don't think he's PL material

Don't they know we are meant to not start doing deals until much, much later. Sometimes even so late we are scrambling to try and get a player for an essential position on deadline day desperate for anyone especially strikers?
This is going to make for a boring deadline day. Get Speakman and this new fella in the bin! I long for the days of Donald or even that Bain who's remit was to be a tight bastard unless it was for **** he used!

I think he's excellent and still agree with you, he's a risky acquisition for so much money but the club obviously feels what he's brought in Brugge is replicable here.

This deal makes me shift even further towards Mikautadze over Abline as Talbi loves to swing in a back post cross and Mikautadze has form for scoring from those.
