Hopefully the recruitment team have replacements lined up for Neil if the worst happens, be gutted to see the academy lads leave.
yeh Talbi must have been the “exciting signing”. Medical probably somewhere in Europe today then over to training from Monday

The other 2 I'm unsure on, I heard Celtic had a bid rejected for Miller and I can't see Celtic going too high for him as they have quite a few CMs. I know an Italian team had a bid in but I thomk that was rejected as well

Tyler Morton would be a cracking replacement imo. Probably quite achievable too. He was excellent in the Euro u21 final when he came on. Have been a fan of his for a while now.I know you don’t want to think about it but I’m a cold hearted bastard. Who have you come up with to replace Neil?

I thought Martel was seriously good in the Euros too. No idea if we could land someone like him. Surely bigger German clubs are now circling?
Seeing as we seem to be ambitious in our targets I would be somewhat appeased if we went for Rovella as he is some player. Makes Gendouzi look like a plodder. Inter Milan seem keen though, so it would need a special project type thing. In all honesty he should be someway out of our league so a complete fantasy pick to stop my tears only.
This is a good point, while it is an exciting move I'm not sure they'd have described it as such when it might seem underwhelming to a lot of people.
Only injury can stop this lad. His improvement last season was exponential and I think he will move on again this season. I wouldn't be surprised if he was at the World Cup for Spain.
So many centre forwards prefer to come back, drop off and then join in. He can do this, but he likes to turn and run past defenders and can do it well. He is a rarity and I hope he gets another deal and we keep him for a bit.

The Neil wanting a different challenge only makes sense if we were still in the championship. Now we have been promoted there is a different challenge.
He might just want to try a new club and living somewhere else for a bit. Gutted to see him go cause he is a local lad but if he wasn't don't think I'd be as bothered as I trust the club to replace him!

Yeah I don’t think this is an exciting signing for everyone
Begging for Huggins to have a full season playing, has the potential to be our best attacking fullback if he can stay fit
