My personal view on Neil is that I think he’s too slow for the prem. He may do okay in a mid table side where they have more of the ball but they’d target way better for a role like that than Neil.

I do want us to keep our academy players where possibly (maybe wrong to think sentimentally) but I think Neil, patto and Rigg have enough to contribute for next year, on differing levels of course.

If we have offered Neil a deal, which I’m sure would be fair, I’d find it kind of bizarre if he wanted to leave now. Not saying he hasn’t paid us back but club has done a lot by him including making him captain last year.

Rather he stayed (think he’d be gone in a year either way) but I do see Neil being out of our best 11 as the season goes on, if not from the start.

Ekrem Konur is basically never right tbf, it would be too far out of our reach though I agree.
For example, Bakayoko, Bakwa, Amad, Bobb. Are 4 that there's a high chance we'd target. How would you rate them? Like in order?

Bakayoko
Amad
Dawka
Bobb.

Kinda thing?!?! I could definitely see us getting one of those

Tbh I think they're all out of our range either in terms of them certainly having better offers or being more expensive.

With bakayoko only a year ago he said he wanted to come to the premier league but for a team who will be challenging for titles and specifically not a mid table team.

Buckys cryptic **** I took as Mikautadze, that neckerchief looked a bit too Georgian flag to make sense anywhere else?

I might be adding 2 and 2 and getting 40, but I BELIEVE.

I thought it was that famous Italian winger, Daggers Bandana. Totally bamboozled me.

Looking at Abline's stats for last season I would not be surprised if he is our priority up front, ranks in the top 20% for all stats relating to carrying the ball into the final third which will be key if we are playing on the counter attack.
