It’s irrelevant because they’re both on the same accounts come the end of the season? I’d argue having your squad ready for the full season is better than panic buying when you’re adrift at the bottom of the league.

What are some peoples obsession with having to spend the most money possible to get deals done. Absolute bloody madness. I hope the owner is a penny pinching bastard and is frugal and sensible. We need to invest but lets do it sensibly and not spunk money for sake of it. Sorry, I know I replied to you magnus but meant others.

150m turned out to be a £107m summer net spend, the point is I was right all along.
