Of course he deserves his chance. They all do but no guarantees he steps up or adjusts immediately and no guarantee he plays as many games. I love Hume but I wouldn’t gamble on us having a significant weakness or we’ll get hammered. It’s the premier league and they just move their big hitters towards our weakness. We need to have reinforcements.

Of course we do but hes one i think will step up. We arent going to buy a whole new team

I really hope Hume does it, I like him but being fully honest I have memories of him struggling against Gordon. Under a **** coach yes, in a **** system yes, but at times a very quick tricky player can get behind him and he’ll have them week o week out. I’d love Hume to step up and be our Gary Neville because I love his spirit but if we don’t get solid cover and competition we’re idiots.

Hes come on a lot since then as have a lot of the lads

Hopefully he smashes that ugly ****er like diaz
