I'm sanguine about this one unlike Bulka

At the time Bulka felt like a one off opportunistic move to get a great keeper

Now its clear we want one and will get one.

So if its not this fella it will be the next one.

And what's most reassuring is 2 days ago when I asked who people would want if Bulka didn;t come off, all the trusted people said Petrovic. And then BANG he was linked.

So I trust the club to move on to the next one and it be another good choice.

In fact, The Northern Echo was once the biggest selling provincial newspaper in the country. It had a very large readership, going well into Yorkshire and we'll up into County Durham.

It also had a strong record of campaigning journalism, setting the trend for some nationals. It even managed to get a pardon, posthumously I think for a bloke convicted of murdering his wife. Harold Evans was it's editor at it's height before he went and did the same job at The Times . It was a decent read up until about the middle eighties, miles ahead of the others

Now, it knows bugger all!

It’s doing my head in tbh, the same as when it was quiet a week or so ago, people whinging that we hadn’t done anything and needed to get a move on.

now we are getting a move on seemingly, people panicking when nothing is happening instantly.

The fact that people close to Chelsea have said he’s coming here.
And there was no mention of another team

it's not that, it's because we already lost out on a keeper that is close, nobody is moaning at the club, so not sure why you're bothered <laugh>

We all want to see business done but these are multi million pound deals involving people moving their families all over the country/Europe/world they take time, there’s plenty time left, all will work out in the end, good players will have options id be worried if everyone we went for hop skipped and jumped here without any competition
