We aren’t anyway, we mainly agreed 5-6 starters. That leaves 5-6 from the current side.

That’s a nice balance and those dropped will get games and earn starts if they step up.

How many realistically would start for west ham? I reckon 3 at most

Guess if I was realistic then may 24th shouldn't have happened as we had an average keeper, am average defence that would get hammered by var, a slow midfield and a half decent striker.

We all got excited, off the scale with some...when we thought we were getting one of two better keepers than Patto...We haven't got any so far.
We've signed others and straight away lads who got us promoted aren't good enough for the task ahead etc and so on.
I'm not saying we don't need a better squad but surely the lads who got us over the line deserve our respect and the opportunity to show us whether their up to the task or not.
The spirit amongst that squad is worth a lot but some on here would seemingly chuck it all away in the lust for points next season and I find that extremely sad.....maybes I'm too long in the tooth for today's must have it now fans. Just give these lads the chance they do richly deserve.

The clubs aim is to stay and compete in the Premier League if this means replacing some of last years squad then so be it sentiment and team spirit can only get you so far and the hierarchy know this and so should we

Think that's a fair price that works for everyone.

Can't see Patterson being thrilled but it looks like we have decided he isn't up to starting.

Can't say I disagree.

Wiki scouting tells me he can play centre back and defensive midfield as well.

And his brother is good.

But also he'll go to AFCON
