I wouldn't be too worried if it turned out Patto was starting against West Ham..but as been said, the lad is decent in the Championship...I don't think he is the long term answer in the Prem....I've always thought he doesn't command his area or make demands of his defence the way really top class keepers do. That said, his contribution to our promotion was there for all to see
I still think there's a good chance of this Petrovic deal coming off, we move quick, I don't see the fee being a stumbling block for us, we are 100% in talks, Sacha said we had to finalise it which is probably why the other journos are saying 'not advanced' yet

Data isn’t necessarily who he is though. Data is just how he did in a specific time period. Defo had an up and down season last time out but the idea that he isn’t a champ keeper isn’t credible based on what we saw from him over three fulls reasons in that league. There’s growth (both technical and mental) to come from him too. Maybe our timelines no longer match but he’s miles away from the bum he’s being painted as.
A good mate of mine works with Elliot Embletons dad or uncle, can’t remember which now and he reckons Chris Rigg is on his way out.

Anthony Patterson is a mid table championship goalkeeper who occasionally can pull off a world class save
