However worth noting that afcon is during the January window so any injury issues can be fixed.

I want ELF deeper, so maybe him and Diarra swap roles
Brad did say he still expects hendo to join… now that there’s serious legs around him I’m not against it
Love the out of nowhere ones. Big fan of Sadiki, good fee also.
I could see us keeping an extra one, just don't see us signing another 2 CMs - unless Neil was to leave

Or maybe we will pivot to having two "8s" and lose the 4-4-2 defensive shape
And tbf sadiki is a bit like kante (a bit as his ball winning isn't really similar) but he's a high energy 6/8(/10) who thrives at bringing the ball up the pitch can still sit in and shield the defence. Should be good on the counter.
Now we have players who run for days alongside him, Hendo is looking a better potential signing

Would agree actually, that's how I've thought of it but for some reason still separate the "advanced 8" and one that sits deeper.
In reality we now could have 4 8s in Riggy, le fee, Diarra and Sadiki who can do both and interchange through the game.
Ghisolfi needs his work permit quick otherwise he won't get any credit
