"The club" had to authorise it and sign off on it. Mowbray didn't veto Speakman. Sure Mowbray will have pushed for it the same way i'm sure RLB pushes for signings.
That's one thing i've noticed, it seems the hierarchy is so streamlined with RLB that they value his input on recruitment a lot more than the other head coaches we had under KLD. That can only be a good thing for me
