I remember when I started posting on here, in the league 1 days and there was chat about what are KLDs ultimate ambitions here. I remember thinking well obviously try and get us back to the prem and then he’ll make his money ten fold. I always had a bit pessimism about it because I just couldn’t see him sticking around long enough for us to get back to the prem when you think back to what he inherited.

Here we are 4 years later and after these reports the last week of the profile of player we’re trying to sign, I’m again wondering what actually are KLDs ultimate ambitions here? Feels like he’s all in atm and it’s not to be a yo-yo team, it’s to be competitive in the Premier League.

Obviously we haven’t got anything done yet, it might not all work out, we may go down comfortably but bloody hell it’s exciting right now and I’ll take that after going through the past decade following the lads.
Always think it come back to what his dad was trying to do with marseille be the best in France and then europe

Thought it was telling that the first thing he posted post promotion was about his dad

Anyone know whats French you'll do for me bonny lad or have a fecking go son

Sunderland have opened talks with Strasbourg over the transfer of Habib Diarra, with the club determined to convince him by presenting an ambitious project.

I'm desperate to see the PowerPoint Speakman has made for the "ambitious project", they're forcing that narrative to every signing and it's exciting.
