This is a business, KLD won’t be interested in going back down again. It’s nothing but upheaval, negativity and bad business wise.

Way I think of it

We will probably sign someone and they'll get injured for about 4 month

I remember walking out of the stone roses, under Allardyce absolutely buzzing, looked at me phone and we'd put a bid in for Dzeko.

I remember when I started posting on here, in the league 1 days and there was chat about what are KLDs ultimate ambitions here. I remember thinking well obviously try and get us back to the prem and then he’ll make his money ten fold. I always had a bit pessimism about it because I just couldn’t see him sticking around long enough for us to get back to the prem when you think back to what he inherited.

Here we are 4 years later and after these reports the last week of the profile of player we’re trying to sign, I’m again wondering what actually are KLDs ultimate ambitions here? Feels like he’s all in atm and it’s not to be a yo-yo team, it’s to be competitive in the Premier League.

Obviously we haven’t got anything done yet, it might not all work out, we may go down comfortably but bloody hell it’s exciting right now and I’ll take that after going through the past decade following the lads.

Diarra - linked by Nixon saying we are preparing a 30m bid and he’s lined up for a medical. L’Equipe have just said we have been trying to get him for days and now negotiations have begun and are moving forward

Bulka - Reported by Keith today that we are working on deal worth £18m

Lauriente - still the same with the MatteMoretto tweet the other day

I knew I could count on you mate, I have also seen Strasbourg signed papa demba diop, could be completely unrelated, but also could be a replacement for Diarra
