I think we will sign another CM that falls into that campThere's nothing here I disagree with tbh, I just would rather a slightly different profile, I appreciate him as a player but am still in the mindset of someone more 24-26.

And the goalkeeper and left winger?Im not sure, if the latest on vanat is true because we need a few positions as priority before a striker
There was times 3 years and a bit ago I doubted if we’d be in this situation again it’s fun looking at 20-35 million pound players instead of 1-4 million pound playersOur 6-0 loss to Bolton in League One was just over 3 years ago.
Now we're signing the best keeper in the top 5 leagues and bidding £35m for a player Atletico Madrid want.
Forget taking Nixon with a pinch of salt. This is a pinch me moment.
Off for jostleGood point from someone on RTG - You don't go and get someone as respected as Ghisolfi from Roma and then go and chase Poku and Tommy Doyle, he's only coming here if he has funds to have a real go.
As a forum we absolutely slate nixon we can't take him as gospel because it's positive news surely![]()
Captained Strasbourg this season at 20/21, would fit the Rigg role like a glove.I ****ing love Habib Diarra. Energy, quality, presence, leadership qualities. Yes please.
We need to be careful. It’s not just about being fine this season. It’s about having a number we can work with next season as well. Ultimately we can afford to lose around £60m this season without immediately falling foul of the rules. However we need to make sure we don’t pin ourselves the season after too.I can’t be arsed to do the full right up, I did it and loads of other journalists did it
Between 150-200 million we’d be fine, obviously the higher we go the closer we push it

There’s probably a gamble that Rigg goes soonish. That would help balance things. We can only do that so many times though. From this point we won’t be dealing with as many ‘pure profit’ players.Yeh and like I say, that's hopefully a worst case scenario as well. The reality is we'll likely sell £50m+ worth of players in the next 2 years anyway.
Quick as well - imagine alongside some of the pace we have up front now/linked withYou must log in or register to see media
That would be a very sensible way to go. I think. Get your money onto the pitch as much as humanly possible. Doesn’t quite square with the Angelino one thoughI do wonder if we are spending big on the priority signings that we will then use the loan market (2x players) and then cheaper options to build the squad depth
I think we will sign another CM that falls into that camp
Not many shouts to sign mepham now![]()
