I think it's smart me, not gambling on a step up with Patto in important positions, KLD is clearly ambitious and going by what has been said by KS, we are not here to make up the numbers. We need to stregthen the spine with quality players

Yes, I'm quite sure £13m will be a significant portion of our spend, I don't believe we're going to spend £200m like some have suggested.
I trust the club 100% to spend our budget in exactly the right way. Not bothered one bit about the fees, just the quality of what comes in.

If he ends up substandard, it's a big outlay for a player than may end up benched. Nothing is guaranteed.
The club will know best whether it's an urgent position or not plus they'll know best about the how much of the budget they want/need to use
Even if it's 10% of our budget that still leaves a lot of room, unless you are expecting us to spend closer to the 100m mark or below.

Some will be cheaper. Some will be more.
And more accurately, none of us will ever find out exactly what we're paying.
All that matters is we bring in improvements and quality players. And this lad clearly is.
