He’s played the equivalent of about 17 games across three seasons and 12 of those were before his injury. Much that I loved him we shouldn’t go anywhere near paying a fee for him.

Would be a bit of an odd one given his injuries. I dont know how fit he is now? Sub at end of last season mainly?

That said, we know what he is capable of if he is fully recovered. That first half of the championship season under Mowbray was brilliant. Every bit a premier league striker. If we were getting that Ross back he would be a better prospect on any links so far imo. Also an upgrade on Isidor. Big if on whether he is that player anymore.

I wonder if this is a sort of deal where Southampton still owe us installments and there is a low ball deal to be done as a result?

I will let the club decide on this one. But I wouldnt mind seeing Loch Ness Drogba back in out shirt with that massive grin on his face after scoring the winner against West Ham.

It's an intriguing prospect,but,as you say,everything would depend on his fitness,ability to turn quickly and link the play.I'm guessing we will have other options in mind. Physicality is going to play a big part of next season....which is why I think Mayenda will impress....LND,I'm not so sure.

Did the silly thing of looking into the Baradji fella on youtube, looks a player which means its definitely not happening sorry lads :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Would be a case of watching him while biting my nails. The lad was great for a while, maybe best leave it in the past to be honest.

I think we will probably get another CF in, unless they think Abdullahi can be an impact sub.

I think another CF,physical and mobile,is a certainty. I've no idea about Abdullahi....looking forward to seeing him. We'll concentrate on the spine imo....a central defender,central midfield and centre forward. We do need others,but those positions are all important.

I hope Abdullahi gets a good amount of time to impress in pre season. Apparently the staff were very pleased with his ability when they seen him. He also looks a unit and looked good in his 21’s appearances
