Yes they can get injuries etc but why should players that are average get life changing money for playing infront of a few hundred Arabs that are looking at there phones? Its ****ing disgusting imo

Imagine Merlin / Bischoff or Cirkin / Mundle fighting it out for a place. Need to concratate more on right wing. But watch both of those for their respective countries in the u21's they've been very, very decent.
Yeah we'll always be looking for better value players, and we should imo, but we're also in the prem now so they know what they need to do.
They agreed to spend 20 on Le Fee while we were in the championship so that shows you the value we're looking at.
I'm very confident we'll spend good money this window. Ghisolfi knows the market and KLD doesn't want to just make up the numbers.
It'll come soon enough. We'll be looking at buying the best players at the u21 euros imo.
Since I saw the rumour about the bloke from Roma I thought it would likely mean Speakman has some form of exit plan in mind. Speakman has probably earned a shot at a bigger role now. I wouldnt guess as to whether he has been beaten to it by this new fella, or he has a different route in mind to us. Either way I think if this new fella actually does arrive then it wont be long before we see Speakman move out. Good luck to him if he does, been brilliant here for us.
As a side note. Will Ghisolfi actually need time to bed in?

Probably way off the mark but it almost feels like our championship targets list has been leaked and those are the current links we are seeing on social media

Maybe, but I thought one of the reasons for hiring the new guy was for him to do his bit, and KS do his, there being much more to do now we are in the PL.
But I suppose nothing lasts forever.
If he had stayed injury free at Southampton in a heart beat. But the lads knee would implode like a collapsing star day one at the AOL if we resigned him. Absolutely gutted he left, genuinely one of my most favourite players of my time supporting the Lads and injury free he's 100% prem quality. But his case is one of the rare times the clubs had the best of a player and then sold him for a tidy profit. Best we move on.

It’s a weird one. I’d probably be more comfortable paying the £4-5m it would take to get Stewart than the £15m+ for Vanat. I don’t think we’re buying a main striker anyway. And signing Stewart would allow us to concentrate our money into more important positions like midfield and out wide.

He seems to be being brought in to help us identify these higher quality talents from abroad. Use his contacts to get us players we might have had no chance to get otherwise
Stewart is crippled, he’s never had a run of games because of injuries ever since he left. We’ve had Mowbray sacked, Beale brought in, Beale sacked, Dodds in charge, 16th finish, RLB in and a promotion since then.
