We have signed experienced players on free's the entire time these lot have been in charge.

He can absolutely add a lot to this squad imo.

Fair point,there have been a few,I agree,.....Evans,Batth,Defoe among them, but I think they came in early on in this ownership. Not sure our needs are the same now....our dressing room is clearly a harmonious,together,committed and believing place,although I do think we're in for a tough challenge. Notwithstanding the fact we do need some quality additions,I think this coaching staff and these players will find a way.

The latter two might be better off going out on loan. See how they fair in pre season first but I'm not sure how much they will play next season.

A new first choice DM and a replacement for Jobe, plus Henderson would complement what we have already in Neil, Rigg and Le Fee.

Do you think 5 would be enough for a 3 man midfield over 40+ games? We will need a couple of lads to cover injuries and suspensions even if they'll only rack up a few appearances.

If people aren't including Browne in their thinking then at a minimum we need to replace Browne, Salis and Jobe in midfield. And that;s before you consider that Harrison Jones was on the bench for most of the end of the season.

I think we need 4 central midfielders. Two quality ones and two more squad based but an improvement on Browne, with Jones and Aleksic being loaned out.

Excellent points. I’d be worried having Browne and Jones regularly in the PL match day squad

Two is the absolute minimum as we've lost two. I agree if Browne stays then we don't need to replace him. And then Harrison Jones and Aleksic might be retained as squad players but I don't think they're ready

I can't see them actively stifling Aleksic and Harrison Jones. We'll sign 2, 3 at most as you've said.

Aleksic wasn’t fancied at championship level never mind the PL. I’d be shocked if he wasn’t out on loan
