Jobe and his family deciding he’s moving has kinda shot us in the foot a bit. No way we hold out for the release clause. I’d have hoped Dortmund first bid would be higher.
I had a row with someone on Youtube saying that Jobe isnt worth that money, obviously a Skyboy, never seen him in the flesh, for a 19 year old he is immense
We could be in a tricky spot if Dortmund refuse to go much higher because I can 100% see Jobe and the family throwing a wobbly. Could get into a bit of a standoff
This is such an important negotiation. On the one hand we can't be seen to be standing in a player's way of moving on to bigger and better things, but on the other hand we can't let ourselves be seen as a soft touch otherwise there's another half dozen or so assets that we'll be low-balled on over the summer. Jobe is our player and we are under no obligation to let him walk, even if it upsets the family. Come on KLD, show everyone that we mean business...

it’s just my opinion. They’re quite methodical about the progression and career paths of the kids and if they’ve decided it’s time to move I think they’ll do everything they can to make it happen.
