So in his prime. We bring him on and sell him at 28 for decent profit
At 26 he's not one for the future and there is no mega profit potential.... He's as good as he's ever going to be, and that's Championship level at best.

I really don't rate him, he is a good championship CB only imo. He has good pace and power but his reading of the game is shocking and that gets found out a lot more at PL levelAnd ended up at milwall.
he’s decent but he gets caught out a lot. He’s not the tallest either
but look on the money they made on Jobe when they sold him...... that sets the marker.moneyI think there’s already an element that they only paid 20m euro for Jude which was not really that long ago in the big scheme of things. Paying double for Jobe perhaps sets the wrong expectations
Is this about the current squad or some of the links?I actually cant believe the amount of players that get ruled out as not good enough by some of ours fans. I get that its just opinion, but I dont see many links where I'm thinking "never in a million years".
Im glad its in Speakman and company's hands, I have faith.
Dunno if it needs its own thread but I'd like to see everyone's opinion on a player that will make a surprising contribution next season, my choice is Alese.
Well, he's played EPL, Champions League , cups etc,or so I'm led to believe 2nd choice to some very good players in Tottenhams team. Not that bad I'd say.I think he’s a solid championship CB no better
for that price I’d rather him than mepham for a squad option as he’ll be useful if we go down
he’s not PL standard
Onien, really find it hard to bet against him now he’s proved me wrong at every turn, didn’t think he’d step up to the championship then had concerns he would be good enough for promotion, I’d back him to step up again and do a solid jobI actually cant believe the amount of players that get ruled out as not good enough by some of ours fans. We still need to make profitNot sure he’d improve us, who cares about a couple of million profit down the line. We want good players
With you on Alese. Just have a feeling about him. RLBs starting partnership was meant to be Ballard and Alese at the start of the season.I actually cant believe the amount of players that get ruled out as not good enough by some of ours fans. I'm not sure he would class in surprising contribution but I have a feeling Patterson is really going to kick on next seasonI actually cant believe the amount of players that get ruled out as not good enough by some of ours fans. Absolutely but would he improve us? Not so sureWe still need to make profit
That was coming through he had potential.Well, he's played EPL, Champions League , cups etc,or so I'm led to believe 2nd choice to some very good players in Tottenhams team. Not that bad I'd say.
I still think Seelt is going to be a top centre halfI actually cant believe the amount of players that get ruled out as not good enough by some of ours fans. I get that its just opinion, but I dont see many links where I'm thinking "never in a million years".

I hope so....I love the lad,he's got a great temperament, and as a shot stopper,he's superb. However,I'm looking for him to improve in two areas...his distribution from inside the box and his coming out to claim a high ball...both have been lacking at times last season.I'm not sure he would class in surprising contribution but I have a feeling Patterson is really going to kick on next season

I have zero hope now with Alese. Decent player but doesn’t play anywhere near enough games. Wouldn’t be missed, sounds harsh but we’re a PL club now, can’t carry anyoneJust on Alese. He turns 25 this season and has played shockingly little football really. He could so do without an injury this year, and if he's not starting for us should probably go on loan otherwise he's going to have had half his career watching games.
I do have the same concerns he just seems to find ways to adapt don’t get me wrong I don’t think he’s going to be in the team of the season but he won’t be the liability some are saying he will beI agree that I’ve also doubted him plenty and he stepped up. I do think he’s not great defensively still but this season he’s been decent for us. The step up is huge though, he’s not going to be playing on the half way line defending against the likes of Nakhi Wells and Karlan Grant where you get away with making mistakes - defensive ability and awareness is going to come into it a lot this coming season and I think he’ll really get found out. It’s a huge test for all of our defenders to be fair. I do hope he proves me wrong, again, though.
I'd keep him until January then can decide whether to loan him out or notJust on Alese. He turns 25 this season and has played shockingly little football really.
