Honestly I read Keith's tweet and thought it was positive. The 4-5 means quality editions not total. We've already signed one as it is. And Keith always underestimates. Last year I think he said 2-3 and we signed like 8.

Think it was 10 last summer. 14 the season before. 10 first season promoted. 9 in the promotion year. 4 or 5 guaranteed starters might be close but I reckon we’ll sign more than 10 in total.

That's 8 players. So 5 quality additions before pre-season to supplement them. Then you still have Rigg, Isidor, Huggins, Seelt, Alese, O'Nien, Roberts.

I am not worrying about what any journo has to say especially this early on in the window, the recruitment team have earned every right for me to trust them, I’m backing them to make the right calls

The one thing history has shown us Sunderland fans since KLD and KS took over, Players coming in are rarely called long before they sign... Can't think of a signing we have made that was called by journalists weeks before he came. The ownership keeps cards very close to their chest... For me, thats the way it should be.
