On the fence with him, technically very good but worry about his physicality for the PL
I’m purely basing it on about 3 games I seen him play for England mate, sure they were friendlies against average opposition too so hard to judge but looked a player

Still not sure what to make of the GK situation

Can Patterson step up? He’s been very good of late

Moore good enough back up for the PL?

Another loan move for Matty Young?
The PL promotion money won’t go far, anyone we think is good enough to make the grade stays, nice to have’s can’t be on the shopping list. I think Patto can do the job until Matty Young is ready and then it’s down to them.

Attention of the club's bosses will now swiftly turn to preparing for life in the top flight, with summer transfer targets having long been identified.

Sunderland chiefs, the recruitment team and head coach Regis Le Bris have held several transfer meetings over the course of recent weeks, with two target lists compiled so the Black Cats were ready to strike regardless of whether they were playing in the Premier League or Championship next season.

Sunderland will now set about bolstering their squad for their return to the Premier League for the first time since 2017, with the capture of Le Fee a fine start to the summer recruitment drive.

If Jobe goes this summer then I have no issue with it at all. Lovely lad with a bright future who had no connection to the club but came in and gave it his all from minute one. Not always perfect but improved enormously through hard work.

I'll watch the rest of his career and remain a fan of his as will most of us I think.

Also he better sign off with 'Jobe done'

He has to be in and around the first team next season. Every step up he’s made, he’s been doubted but he’s ultimately handled it. He’ll make mistakes but his influence on the squad is worth his place alone.

Said it before and maybe I'm remembering it wrong but my recollection is that he didn't really put a foot wrong when we played Newcastle. I don't think he looked out of place against them.

He's always capable of surprising people and if anyone's worried about him and VAR I wouldn't be, he's not stupid. He pushes the limits but he knows where those limits are and what he can get away with.

Jobe #Bellingham —> @BVB = “almost” here we go.

Today, further – positive – discussions took place.

The transfer is practically complete; all that's missing is the signature. The deal is done.

Before anyone pins me down: It can still fail—for whatever reason. For example, a medical check.

But, according to my information: #Bellingham —> @BVB here we go.

Announcement expected early to mid next week.

Patterson will be fine, he's pulled himself back on track after a minor wobble. Talent wise he's good enough for the prem.

The best keepers make howlers fairly regularly, Patterson is solid and the areas he needs to work on, distribution and commanding the box, are relatively easy to improve.

It'd be frustrating to lose Jobe. Ive always felt he'd be mental to leave us in the Prem, unless they're sold on a certain club. He goes with good will, but I just think one more year...

Patto has been class since shedding a bit weight I think. We will want a keeper because Moore might knock about till end of the contract but you will need someone more solid. Young aint ready yet.

Triantis intrigues the hell out of me. I think hes gotta be commanding a good fee of about 4-5 million at least this summer, but even then is it worth selling? I think hes got a canny ceiling, be interesting to see what Reg and co. think in the summer.

I've been critical in the last few years of Speakman, but in my defence I dont think it's been overboard, in fact I've been banging the drum about the worth of our squad skyrocketing since he came in. He's in charge of the managers too so hes behind the increase of our worth. He made a mistake with Beale, you can see he wanted a modern manager type. But Beale is weak.

Reg is different gravy, another who has had my ire, but hes proven his ability this season, especially in the big one with his subs. I thought the team selection was right barring Roberts. But he brought Roberts on and it was terrific. Also, Watson. The growth of our players physical ability and financial value is phenomenal.

I talked about how value can be fickle, Ekwah is a good example. He was looking like a 10 million pound player at some point. Despite his value being close to about 4 million, wed still make a profit.

Look at Mayenda, 800k we paid. He's gonna be approaching bids around about 20 million in my opinion, if there is more than just interest.

Ive always felt this season from game 2 or 3, that we had it in us to maintain our form. We dropped off massively, we really could've caught Sheff Utd. Easy. But they had proven top players for this level who went for millions and were experienced. We had a midfield of two teens.

Gutted when jobe goes like. Thought he’d give us one more season.

Hopefully it’s a great deal for us, won’t be easy to replace. Someone with his physicality in the middle isn’t easy to find and not for small fees.

Transfer decision approaching: [HASHTAG]#BVB[/HASHTAG] plans special role for #Bellingham

If thats true then I don't get the Jobe deal being done so quickly after the final?

I would at least expect him to take a week or two to think about it? And to be honest I thought he would stay if we got promoted!

Like to Raid some wonderkids on loan from Chelsea, Lavia or Ugochukwu

get a some free agent experience and then some next level permanent youth signings.
