Live and die by the sword with young strikers like, Rusyn, Burstow and Hemir all came with pedigree and ratings similar or greater than Mayenda. It just didn’t work out for them all

Hemir didn’t have the attitude or ability for the Level

Burstow was rated by Chelsea but honestly should have had a league one loan to get him goals, Sunderland was too much for him at the time.

I will die on the hill that Rusyn could have been a success here he just needed much more game time and better support and integration from the club. As did Jewy for that matter.
I’m a fan of Rusyn’s graft, but haven’t seen any quality. Get rid I say. Jewi I’ve heard is a bit of tit.

Didn’t help that both jewi and rusyn were thrown under the bus by TM, he didn’t rate or want to use them

Mayenda and rigg new deal in the summer hopefully. Not as hopeful with Neil and cirkin unless we go up

Bollocks that imo. Yeah they didn't get a grata deal of chances Jewi imo never be good enough for this level, dog chasing a balloon springs to mind. Never seemed to have the ball under full control, he went with the ball instead of the ball going with him!

Rusyn isn't what we needed, lone striker needs to be a constant threat, he wasn't. The lad would probably be decent as part of a old-fashioned 442, unfortunately for him that's all but gone from the game.

TM seemed to mention language which I agree with another poster who just said it and I'm sure I said it at the time why the **** monthly not get an interpretor for each player until they learn? Cost **** all in comparison to spanking transfer fee and wages on lads who then struggle because of language!

Totally agree with Rusyn, was an odd signing for a team playing predominantly with a lobe striker.

I quite liked Jewi though, think he has potential but nowhere near Mundle or even Watson levels yet. He also apparently has a bit of an attitude problem.

When jewi came here he struggled with home sickness was up all hours of the night talking to home which didn’t help

then I’d heard he wasn’t very good with things like diet etc and wasn’t strict or committed enough to looking after himself

The chat about Hemir is that he was miles off the fitness levels of the rest of the squad and showed little appetite to improve that.

That's fair enough like, tough to adjust to a different country especially at that age. Some struggle more than others.

I'm sure he'll have a good career anyway.
