Aye id rather take the cash now than have a significant sell on that might never come to fruition. Look at Stewart and Clarke and their sell ons.

£25-27m now with 10% is better than £20m with 30% - even if that 30% MIGHT cash in later

Don’t think we’ll ever find out for sure what the sell on is. Just got to trust the club we do what’s best. I trust these guys.

That's there sell on ain't it ? Or is it closes to 15%
15 from what I gather, there was a rumbling of it being 20% if we go up or something silly. But I think 15 is the safer assumption - 28m, brings us roughly 24m and we slap a 25% sell on to anyone who wants him.

I believe it, players going from the Championship to the Premier League rarely hit the £20m mark, as good as he is, he is not a world beater yet, whomever takes him has a lot of work to do, to make him into a world class player.

For his development is he not better going abroad first?

Arguably more game time in addition to be at a side in the top 6 of those leagues, potentially europe, slightly slower pace and will learn more in 2 years there than at Crystal Palace?

Unless hes off to United but that would be so un bellingham like

I don't think it matters too much, somewhere secure that isn't a basket case and he gets a decent amount of games would probably be better for his development than a club where he plays every week but is unstable.

Just feel its worth mentioning, the lad we were linked with in january from Halmstads has been off to a flyer in the new season with 4 goals and an assist in his last 4 games.

- Yannick Agnero for context.

Crazy to think we needed strikers for so long and now we have one on 13 goals this season and the other on 9.

our strikers scored a grand total of 3 goals last season
Live and die by the sword with young strikers like, Rusyn, Burstow and Hemir all came with pedigree and ratings similar or greater than Mayenda. It just didn’t work out for them all

Hemir didn’t have the attitude or ability for the Level

Burstow was rated by Chelsea but honestly should have had a league one loan to get him goals, Sunderland was too much for him at the time.

I will die on the hill that Rusyn could have been a success here he just needed much more game time and better support and integration from the club. As did Jewy for that matter.
