Just not journalism at all. New media aggregation at best. Professional retweeting at worst.

Its not even media aggregation. Its selective media aggregation to spin a story to get clicks and play with the local community's minds.

**** article. He might not even realise what he's done when he's done it

There’s two more Chelsea players who were at Strasbourg last season we could defo put loan offers in for… Andrey Santos and Mamadou Sarr.

Pretty irresponsible to pick and choose which of the reports on a subject to report on and not even reference the other ones.

Gutter journalism and my already low respect for him has dropped.
Isnt his audience just the echo audience. Not everyone reads all articles, links or rumours from the internet, which lets face it is an unregulated wild west. There are still some in the world who read actual newspapers, like my Dad. Sometimes local journalists have to tread differently.

One of the many irritating things about the sun echo

Oh absolutely. Exactly my point.

But yesterday about 10 media outlets reported on Petrovic

2 said he was close
8 said that he isn't close.

He's reported on the 2 and not in any way mentioned the 8.

That's irresponsible to his audience. If you're reporting on "reports". Report on all of them. People like your Dad who will read that and think it's close.

That would make sense if he was giving credit to the journalists who reported the story, the article reads like he's reporting it himself. It's poor journalism from a poor journalist, in my opinion.

Does nothing for local outlets when local journalists just rehash tweets without digging into things for themselves for actual information that validates the article. That's the actual journalism part of it.

And people who only read the Echo and don't read the whole internet like us lot, will read that and think we're about to sign the keeper. When pretty much every news source other than the "reports" he mentions say we're not.

**** it, I stand with Jimmy

Really hope this is true. I absolutely loved Mikautadze in the Euros, the whole Georgian team worked their bollocks off but with some real quality too. He also seems another level up even on what we've signed so far in terms of being more well known and established.

Thought that was petty clear personally haha. Have a feeling this one will drag on for a bit, I'm not getting my hopes up on either Petrovic or Mikautadze until we get a "here we go" from Fab, especially after the Bulka fiasco.
“Copley and Paste”

When did he or Phil Smith do any real journalism ie. Find something out from a contact?

It’s either rehashing other people’s info that’s already in the public domain or it’s a press release on behalf of the club

Two nice lads I’m sure and big SAFC fans but it’s not journalism in my eyes
