The competition for him won't have changed after this comp tbh, teams don't recruit based on a player having a good comp (well most teams dont)
This guy is known across Europe and will have had plenty of interest at the end of the season
I hope we can pull it off as think he fits exactly what we need
You have to assume game time is an important factor and there aren't many premier League teams where that's a serious possibility.
Conversations with Speakman and Regis too would I imagine give him some confidence in how he fits our system compared to others.
