Always depends who the journalist is. Pete O’Rourke is often accurate. Wayne Veysey is NEVER accurate. this guy seems new as not seen him before
Reads more like an opinion piece rather than an actual link. Plus, the writer is a Boro fan so read into that what you will.
yeh it’s definitely an opinion piece but compared to most it’s actually a well thought through one. I can definitely see it happening but am not losing any sleep on it until something more solid comes up
Some of these lads will raise their game for the Premiership, the likes of Hume, Cirkin, Dan Neil, Patto, Pat Roberts being prime candidates in my opinion, need to get those deals sorted asap because the rumours will only get stronger. Which of our current squad could make a surprise England call up before the season's out?
I don’t think any of our current squad have a chance of an England call up this season realistically. I reckon Cirkin might commit to Ireland as he keeps pulling out of the u21s
Will be extremely hard for anyone new to break into the England setup with it being a World Cup year. But if I had to guess it would be Cirkin or Patterson. Both play in problem positions (outside of Pickford) for England but they'll have to play unbelievably well
Forgot about Patterson. I’d say he’s probably the most likely to get an England call up if there’s some keeper injuries. Still think Cirkin commits to Ireland and he has quite a few left backs ahead of him - Lewis Skelly, O’Reilly, Hall, Lewis of the top of my head alone
Tbf with his injury record i could see us briging in better Rather he signed up and we brought someone to compete with him though
it is but it would be daft by him? he left them to play football so would be weird to go back and not play football, as theyve got udogie havent they and that article is all about quotas. They really going to offer something financially that we cant compete with, considering its levy were talking about.
he left them to play football at a time he had no chance of playing for them. He’s gone away and played football and done enough to show he can play in the premier league. Job done in that regard. if they can offer him semi regular appearances including in the champions league he may absolutely back himself to prove that he’s their first choice left back over time
Spurs need another homegrown player for europe. That's why Cirkin has been "suggested" don't think it's a proper link
Hemir posting off season training. He’s one of the biggest what if’s ever at the club him. Build, ball striking, technical ability all perfect for a striker. But he has zero work ethic which makes him useless
Yep. They didn't just hit with those signings, they got the best outcome they could have hoped for. Even 3 replacements who meet expectations will be a downgrade, let alone of they miss with one of their purchases.
