Everton signing Grealish means basically they are gonna be nowhere near the relegation places, ridiculous signing. Up until a few weeks ago I’d of said they were a team that could’ve been scrapping with us but that’s a top signing for them.

It would depend on which Grealish turns up IMO. Is it the Grealish that was a mainstay for Man City in winning the treble or the Grealish that didn't really do anything afterwards. Still an extremely skillful player but can he be arsed to put the effort in?

The way we're presenting the club to players, clubs and the media is making people take notice ...

... other club's supporters have all but dropped the 'nailed on for the drop' crack and are looking at what we're doing.

One more powerful signing plus a top loan and we can all relax.

Not that we won't sign anyone else, but we'll know the club have given it their best shot.
If we cannot stay up I'm not sure what anyone can do to bridge the gap, unless they say to hell with PSR, blow 500million and accept the points deduction a season or two later.

Never had Everton down as relegation candidates personally. They were in great form under Moyes last season (annoyingly).

Brentford, Wolves, Bournemouth, West Ham & potentially Forest & Fulham are ones I reckon will have a bit of worry.

Aye they’ve been great under Moyes mind but I just look at their squad and it’s so so average. It’s a bit strange Moyes was worse at West Ham with what I believe is a considerably better squad. Brentford are the ones I’m tipping to go down. And hopefully Leeds and Burnley make it easier for us. Bournemouth have lost some key players but they’ve got a top manager

He’s been stifled there for sure but I remember even at the euros I think it was where he couldn’t get a sniff under Southgate the players were all saying he was the best player in training by a mile. I believe he’s still a quality player and he’s not the first to go to City and be totally stifled by that system. Everton are likely going to give him free reign as the 10 and he will be their talisman if he stays fit, I expect a big season

At least 20m for Hume for me. Good character, good player who could get better yet. Would also like us to maintain somewhat of a British core where we can too.

Can’t see us even entertaining a sale, he’s our only right back that we can trust currently (need to give huggins time to get over major injuries). I’d prefer a new deal this summer for Hume.

The lad loves it here, he won’t be pushing for a move.
This! And,if we have a reasonable season in this league, his value will increase exponentially. He loves it with us...why would he want to go now? May as well give it a go and see where it ends up.
