Yeah for all Isak is brilliant, that squad needs a lot more work that they let on and the isak money would give them the scope to add quality depth and sort out the CBsI must admit, if I were a Newcastle fan I'd want Isak sold as soon as possible and then get on the case of bringing Trafford, Scalvini, Guehi, Gallagher, Wissa and, say, Sesko in, would improve them massively and they'd be fine from a PSR perspective. I don't think their fans do want that though and I'm not sure that PIF/NUFC move at a speed adequate enough to get all that done.
As a Sunderland fan I personally hope they make Isak stay, that he's miserable and demotivated there and that they continue to tyre kick and drag their heels on all their other deals.
Some hilarious comments on there now. “In it for the long haul” the usual “massive club” thing!! Oh how I hope it happens!!You must log in or register to see media

It's true that long haul flights are bad for any lanky player, especially those with an injury.
But Eddie was confident only a few days ago.
RLB said to Phil Smith, we are after a GK, CB or two, CM, Winger and potentially a CF. So maybe 5/67-8? Bit much that.
