I'm kind of on the fence with a striker. Yes, I think we need one, but I don't want Mayenda's progress hampered. Whilst a next level signing would be great for our survival hopes, I'd equally have an experienced player there to come off the bench so Mayenda gets minutes.
The good thing with Strikers is they'll always get minutes, strikers are easier to rotate or come off the bench than a CB for example I think we need 3 strikers, Mayenda should start as 1st choice then get another one to compete with him and Isidor Loan Abdullahi to a L1 or championship side (not sure he would get a move to a championship team)
I've a Hammer mate too. Not had him on about this, but he was moaning last season about the age Moyes left the squad in when he left. This won't help his temper! Mind you do wonder what's going on there. They only spend about £3m a year on the ground rental, no borrowing costs for it, they don't even pay the maintenance costs, which are over £10m . You'd think Potter had been told he had a decent budget. Time yet I expect.
Yeah I can see that, for me though I’d like a similar calibre to what we’ve been signing but upfront. Someone who’s scored goals abroad and a decent age. Guessand, Moffi, Arokodare, Promise David are a few I can think of
I fancy Huddersfield to compete for automatic promotion ✍️ Huddersfield Town signings so far: Marcus McGuane ✅ Alfie May ✅ Ryan Ledson ✅ Lynden Gooch ✅ Sean Roughan ✅ Marcus Harness ✅ Murray Wallace ✅ Joe Low ✅ Jack Whatmough ✅ Owen Goodman ✅ Josh Feeney ✅
Aye they've had a cracking window on paper My mate was at the Hibs vs Bolton game on Saturday and said Bolton looked very impressive so I expect them to be top 6 Luton should be favourites and Plymouth will do well this season
This is all very interesting but where’s my Sunderland news surprisingly quiet today. Most days we at least get a random update from a random source. Absolutely zilch today. Nothing. Even Football Insider have given up making stuff up about us.
