I’d rather him play every week especially after missing a year, looks like we’ll play with one uptop mostly anyway. Probably sign another striker too, or keep him till jan and see how he develops
Yep all comes down to the budget, I don't think striker is vital at the minute - still want 2xCBs, a CM and a RM (bobb ideally for @Hudson92 sake)

But I do think a year of playing week in week out is vital to a lot of our players development. Loans aren't the be all and end all though, a bad loan can really impact a players career but the right 1 can kick them on massively (Triantis last season for example)

I’m sure we’ll know soon enough about our fringe players, didn’t Regis say after Portugal he would let them know who can stay. Great experience for the young academy lads being amongst it, hopefully we can get them good loans if they’ve outgrown the u23s.

This bade link credible? Didn’t watch the game last night so can’t comment on his battle with abdullahi, but good age full international playing at a good top level club, could be a shout?

Very good player, he was poor last night - maybe trying to lower his value for us!!

Wonder if we would go for him and Diakite or it's 1 or the other. I'd prefer Diakite if it's 1 or the other but both would honestly be immense and have the potential to be a top 10 CB pairing in the league

No idea if the link is credible tho

I never know who to believe anymore haha 3.4m followers one being Romano but not sure if that means anything or they’re just a big news outlet, I’m all in on diakite so hope it’s him we are pursuing

Wouldn't be surprised if we are keen, think there's connections to our new DoF

Just think it might be 1 of him or Diakite

Watching on the whistle and Phil Smith is saying all the staff are out here and so much transfer work is going on. Top priority is a high calibre centre half, RLB said we are aware we need them for game day 1. Should see developments in the not so distant future.

RLB spends half his day coaching and half in recruitment meetings.

Should expect a few more high calibre/significant players to come in

Sure I read Lucumi wants to stay in Italy but that was only in the mirror.

My Italian person I spoke to thinks Lucumi is miles above us so I think it would be a coup if we got him.

the alternative scenario is we are leaking this to show Lille we have other options re Diakite

or most excitedly maybe we want both
