There's no chance. He's their best player. He's played a bit as the right sided 10 for them lately and I see him having that nailed down next season for them. Amad is one of about 5 players that they won't want to sell.
I’m not sure he’s their best player but I think you’re probably right. I still have no doubt we’ll be asking the question…
We will need some experience as well, but we can't just go away from our plan now we are in the PL I think 3 experience players and then some real quality young players
We want (and can possibly attract) the next Kerkez, Huijsen, Mbeumo, Ait Nouri, Baleba, Mateta etc. What's really exciting is that I'm confident our scouting team know how to identify these players and where they can find them.
Still not sure what to make of the GK situation Can Patterson step up? He’s been very good of late Moore good enough back up for the PL? Another loan move for Matty Young?
To be a bit gloomy for a second, I almost hope that we don’t go for an expensive striker addition. If I think to the ones that we’ve chased for big fees, I’m not sure they’re all that great. Certainly I’m massively happy we didn’t get deals for Akpom, Armstrong or Cannon done. Maybe mayenda’s emergence (plus Isidor) means we can go a little more left field with the inevitable striker purchase. However I do worry a bit about our ability to pick one at a big price.
from a professional aspect what happens in reality now we've changed leagues? If they see something in Triantis for example but not quite a prem footballer is there literally a conversation such as 'here's a new deal but we'd be looking at another loan' and in the case of roberts for example 'happy for you to stay, no guarantees of starts but if you'd like to move to play football we'd support it'? i take it convos like tht will be had pretty shortly
We already made an exception it seems when we signed him on loan as he's supposedly on about £60k. That's not a high wage for the premier league
