We havn't seen enough of him TBH. Injured most of his time but theres enough there to be able to spot a goodun.
Yep. 1st game - canny performance, no goals or assists 2nd game - good performance, 1 goal 3rd game - great performance, hattrick 4th game - good performance, 1 goal
We'd also have the January window to adjust if desperate tbf. If the AFCON players we're recruiting are appreciably cheaper than their market value then it still presents an opportunity - even with the numbers we've recruited so far. It's basically 3 games that we'd be exposed for.
Mayenda seems to do his best work with lots of space and running at defenders, always looks brighter when he has a partner. Just think it could be an option
I can think of a couple reasons tbf, El khannous is better than enciso and plays a different role that suits us more.
So did I but Abdullahi has shown he can run, hold up, drop deep, makes good runs etc. Hemir was just getting on the end of some headers and offering nout else haha
You can see what Hemir's issues are though. Lad just won't move. Mastered the art of looking like he's pressing but you realise he's actually just 5 foot away moving his shoulders back and forth. Abdullahi has none of those 'qualities' from the little we've been able to see.
How good is he really though? He was deployed as a 10 pretty much all season for Leicester and didn’t really stand out imo, Enciso looks the better player from what I’ve seen of them both and is available for half the price whilst not going to AFCON and also being able to play several positions
Abdullahi is everything Hemir should be. They’re similar stature, but Abdullahi actually makes runs, drops deep, holds it up, is more of a threat for defenders to deal with.
