We’ve been linked with Cresswell for what seems like a couple of years. Be nice to finally get it done - otherwise he becomes the new Robbie Keane.

 

I did wonder if Ramsdale might come into the equation. Relegation specialist

 

Not just the quality of strikers, the biggest thing i think he'll struggle with is VAR. He is constantly grabbing, tugging and pulling in the box at corners and he's got away with it in the lower leagues but he wont in the premier league

 

Weird thing on his cv isn’t it because he’s actually an ok keeper

 

I'm a little bored of the VAR argument with Luke O'Nien, but probably won't matter since he isn't going to be starting games.

 

As if he’s daft enough to not know it’s there lol

 

Toulouse will accept a transfer bid that meets their asking price. That's what I make of it.

 

Personally I'd happily take Ramsdale but if he's actually been linked I doubt he's coming

 

I’m far too superstitious to get on board him coming in didn’t he come out and say he gets distracted and bored mid game too?

 

And is if arguably his most impressive game in my memory (the league one final) didn't have VAR. Every challenge timed to perfection and nothing silly at all.

Southampton fans will tell you he was actually alright, but it's not the profile id be targeting really.

 

I actually think that's an unfortunate consequence of his standing as a keeper. He's a decent keeper who is clearly prem quality but not elite. I wouldn't mind him one bit for a year or two as we establish
