I agree mate. Very youthful and no physicality whatsoever really, Jobe is a big lad but there’s no real aggression amongst the 3 of them. Samed hasn’t contributed anywhere near as much as most of us expected when we signed him like, seemed like a great signing at the time.
Another big plus for me is seeing us getting proper coverage again. Missed watching us on MNF, Super Sunday and MOTD. Will be a real buzz, especially after a transfer window with our model, should be some exciting talent coming through the door with hopefully a mix of experience too, Even if we come back down we should have a squad that can win the league or go up automatically and compete with other parachute payment clubs for the top champ signings.
I think the club could take off if we get up and stay up. Aye it’ll be extremely tough but not impossible, good transfer wimdow and a bit momentum. All it takes is a few clubs to have poor windows and starts anything can happen. The money will literally transform us too, even if we came down. Leeds have had thr best squad in the league om top of parachute payments because of their PL stint. I definitely don’t want to be in the championship for thr long term
Interesting one. Man U need shot of players and a massive refresh but Bruno is one of their better performers
If we as you suggest would be going up and getting humped, its better to do it sooner surely? Best to get a slice of that elite level finances sooner before it fully becomes a closed market. But thats my take, I can appreciate not feeling like we are ready yet.
Interesting, I think there is a fair few scenarios where we dont this season but thats valid. Out of curiosity what do you think would happen in the next 12 months to prepare us significantly more for the premier league?
I'm gonna put this article in here since we could sign in permanently in the summer if promoted Exclusive:Enzo Le Fée on the Le Bris text that sparked Sunderland move & his Premier League dream for 'incredible' fans https://www.sunderlandecho.com/spor...bZ8FDCuD2FXINXRuDA_aem_ajQEJSYCBjEN1Vou8-7e5Q
Regis would have another season with the players, I don’t believe half as many will leave as what some others think, also depending on who we get in and getting off to a good start it will be a pleasure to watch.
I don't disagree, think we could do very well with players that suit his style, but also think his style of play (moreso when we had pace available out wide) would potentially be able to keep us up and then we are just a year ahead. As I think you have mentioned you arent against going up but maybe just prefer the chance to build a little more, i can get that in all honesty. Think I'm just ready to roll that dice in the prem (if we can get there first).
Callum Doyle’s loan up at Norwich. I’d be asking Man City their price to take him permanently, regardless of division. He’s got loads of experience for a 21 y/o and very comfortable in more than one position. Really rate him.
