I don't understand this. If Leicester has decided that Maddison, Fofana and Barnes are not for sale (Ref: FosseFilberto ad infinitum) surely a respected Technical Director like Dan Ashworth would not keep sanctioning going back and making another bid - we would just move on to other targets.

Doubt it…sneaky bastards

They probably think they will keep on doing this and disrupting the player…who himself might force through a move if he sees how keen the club is to sign him.

Or is this Dan Ashworth a God fearing Church man?

Exactly I told Fosse the 2nd bid was made because they'd been encouraged to believe a deal can be done by Leicester City and the players side, but Fosse doesn't understand.

We've been quietly shipping out surplus players. Leno, Lacazette, Torreira. A few gone out on loan too, Balogan, Tavares, Patino

I think we'll probs move on one or two more and then move for either a winger or a CM, possibly both.

Seems that Denial isn't just a river in Egypt

There's one running through Flossy's head too

Mahrez £60 million ... made to wait for move for 2 years
Drinkwater £40 million ... happy to sell when we did, better players at the club
Maguire £80 million - Soyuncu stepped in and we went in to win the FA Cup a season later
Chilwell £45 million - watched his replacement through the academy, Luke Thomas, pick up an FA Cup winners medal whilst he was picking up his losers ...

Contrast with ... Ozil, van Persie, Fabregas, Nasri, Aubameyang ... now if Carlsberg did **** in the transfer market football clubs <laugh>

... after winning a Champions League

... as has Kante .... and Mahrez has 4 Prem titles ... how good is our recruitment eh? ... no wonder every one wants our players .. <cheers>
No doubts you've done well and this is a serious question not a wind up. With the prize money plus players you've sold do you feel that the current team is on a downward spiral? I think you could have done better with the money that has come in. No doubt bringing players through it's a strength but that adds to my point, the right recruitment alongside the players you've developed and you should have a better side than you currently do.

Apparently PSG now interesred in Fofana ... can't say I'm surprised (he's gonna be much better than van dijk) .. and if the bidding war with Chelsea tops the £100 million mark, even I would say do the deal ... as much as I love the kid ... <cheers>

In all honesty .. if all are fit and committed, then no ... we would trouble the top teams again ... once the window closes we will know where we are on that front ... but the players in the spotlight are there because they are 3 of the best in their positions in the Prem... as are Justin and Ndidi... and Dewsbury-Hall will soon be joining them if he continues progressing as he is ...

Our model works for us ... we know it is inevitable that the very best will move on ... but as I keep saying ... it's about selling when it suits the club ... and not just for the financial reasons...

Sounds like Chelsea are gonna make another bid for Fofana.

Romano says Fofana wants the move too.

Wouldn’t be surprised if this one goes to the wire and is one of the big deadline day stories.

PSG have apparently joined the chase ... £100 million and I'll allow it ... and Romano should be taken with a pinch of salt ...according to him Tielemans has been at Arsenal for the last 3 months <laugh>
