Be a terrible shame if a Champions League club like Spurs came along and showed interest in Tielemans, rumours are he’s whoring himself out to those clubs…

We were linked last year and I expect this year too, especially if we don't get this Tchouameni kid we've apparently been working on for a while.

Hes nothing special imo but would do well in a klopp midfield

I wanted Tielemans before we signed Fatbelly and I’d say I was justified in wanting that… lol.

I think he’s a decent player but if we have the chance to bring Eriksen back then we should be like flies on **** with that and have Tielemans on the back burner.

Dunno why they wouldn't just tell Conte and not broadcast to everyone that you're a bit flush now.

Could be wrong but I think it’s to do with rebuilding the relationship with fans. For the first time ever the fans really turned on ENIC/ Levy in the stadium during Nuno’s final game, which (supposedly) prompted Paratici to leave halfway through the match and basically give Conte a blank cheque to write his demands on in order to get him. So ENIC now want to try and prove to the fans they’re serious about backing Conte and Paratici. It’s a publicity stunt but also a welcomed one I’d say. I doubt we’ll have a net spend of £150m but I’d like to think we’ll splash a fair bit of dough this window, especially on top of what we make from hopeful player sales.

Probs more likely to be designed to try and keep Conte at the club
