Seems to happen these days because they get rich and can't be arsed with the dedication football requires.
Excellent system’s player but not a great individual player. Didn’t help that he bought into his hype early on too.
Genuinely fear for his future and did before he joined Everton. I wouldn’t be completely surprised if he’s retired within a couple years.

Yeh makes no sense to me eitherThey want £20mill for a man not even good enough for Everton?
