Oh i dunno, youre a bit part player trying to improve a failing side, probably should direct your energy towards your football and concentrate on that rather than doing photo shoots.

Im all for it, just another laugh at utds expense for me.
Ah right.

Philips may regret that transfer career wise if not financially, Rodri isn't going to be benched so he could end up like Ake.
50m bench warmer to sit next to the 100m bench warmer they got last year.

Pep the genius <laugh>

A direct replacement for Fernandinho. He won't be first choice but he'll get plenty of games. I think he is an upgrade on the 36 year old version of Fernandinho.

He'll play a fair few CL games especially early on and in the cups. Might get 10-15 games in the league too.

Good signing if they keep him injury free which was a massive issue last season.

The lack of transfers at Utd is still a mystery, they clearly need bodies and that has been obvious for some time, you'd expect them to have got a couple in straight away?

To go from first choice to back up is not the smart thing to do imo he could end up on the bench a lot. Isn't he trying to establish himself as a starter for England?

If the Erickson thing is real you'd at least expect that done quickly.
They are a shambles bruv, top to bottom.

The guy who's in charge of recruiting was filmed telling fans they are broke, spent a billion on ****e and need investors.

Not a great starting point for negotiations imo, telling everyone your skint<laugh>

5 subs in the league next season, Phillips will get plenty of game time. Think it’s a good deal for City and a **** one for Leeds, £45m for an established HG international is relatively cheap by usual English tax standards. West Ham want over £100m for Rice and ain’t no way he’s more than twice the player of Phillips.

That's a good point 5 subs will mean more game time, however are fringe players going to be happy coming on for 10 minutes here and there. Clubs will need to manage that role carefully or they're going to piss players off.

I think clubs are gonna love it now, lots of chances to be had thanks to these new rules. I think he'll get more than 10 mins here and there. He's a good player and whilst Rodri will be the main man in that position, Phillips should still get plenty of game time.

We've got four CMs now battling for two starting spots but all of Bentancur, Bissouma, Hojbjerg and Skipp should get plenty of minutes between them over the course of the season.

Same for you guy's forwards, Nunez, Salah, Jota, Diaz and Firmino all likely gonna play lots of games, even if not always starting.

Think the 5 subs coming in will have an effect on late winners and late goals.

5 subs gives you so many more options as a manager

Flip side is that he has struggled with calf injuries over the last few years. Might be the Bielsa workload that caused it or he might just be susceptible to those types of injury. Reduced gametime might actually work for him.

Anyway, they got him cheap. I'd rather he stayed, he was our best player by a distance. Its made us alot weaker.

It's an interesting dynamic.

On the one hand the clubs with big squads will benefit but on the other hand the lower clubs might be able to stick fresh legs on to defend the game out.

Not only fresh legs but fresh tactics.

Can see klopp playing a front 5/6 in some cases next season if were chasing a game or looking to surprise a side early on.

Being a seasoned title specialist myself (fm22) I can tell you it helps massively to have 5 subs
