I watched 30 years of mediocrity with my lot including 2 losing FA Cup semi-finals (which I was at) and, somewhat bizarrely, a winning Charity Shield (which I was also at) until the demi-God that is Martin O'Neil took us to League Cup glory ... it's the **** times that really make you appreciate the good ones and, particularly, the fantasy footballing journey we've been on since King Power came in ...
Anyway's fella, how's about a nice little friendly wager for the forthcoming season? A month's avatar or £10 to the winner's charity (or both) on which of our teams finishes the highest?
Winner chooses the avatars, no sub-contracting or other ungentlemanly deviancy... and avatar forfeit to kick in for 31 days from the final day of the season?
Could be an interesting one, given your obvious spending ambitions
